Timber Team International A/S was established in 1991 by Mr. Ivar Skytt and Ivan Knudsen.
Mr. Skytt and Mr. Knudsen each had more than 25 years of management and trading experience in the timber trade from 2 of the major world timber trading companies.
The company was registered as a limited liability company (A/S) in November 1991.
Initially the company focused on supply to the growing wooden flooring industry, and to European timber importers. Both these groups remain important contributors, however, the company has steadily expanded the number of markets serviced, and today trade actively in over 25 countries worldwide.
The focus remains. As the company approaches its 20 year anniversary, the company strives to be a unique, steady, reliable partner for customers, agents, suppliers and partners alike.
